The Bridges to Safety is a self-directed, online course over 6-weeks that aims to build a common base of knowledge, increase awareness and education, and enhance the capacity of those in the settlement sector to recognize and respond to gender-based violence in ways that meet the unique needs of newcomer, immigrant, and refugee communities. It also aims to increase the capacity of the anti-violence sectors to work collaboratively with the settlement sector in this area, and to focus on building bridges between sectors.
