United Nations Population Fund TransformU Network: Toward an Africa-led research agenda on Gender-Based Violence and International Conference on Population and Development in Kenya, South Africa and Zambia

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) invites you to a TransformU University Network webinar led by the Pervoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) at University of Bristol and the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), Nairobi, Kenya, themed: “Toward an Africa-led research agenda on GBV and ICPD25 in Kenya, South Africa and Zambia” The session will present an overview of the research undertaken to assess the status of pledged action for the ICPD25 on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in East and Southern Africa. It will also offer a space for discussion on the rationale, aims, approach and key emerging findings of the rapid assessment leading towards the development of an Africa-led research agenda on GBV and ICPD25. This will also be the opportunity to present the calendar of activities for the TransformU network in the months to come. The webinar is open to existing and potential members of the network and all UNFPA staff so please share this invitation to your networks.
