SUMMARY:Bridges to Safety: Building the capacity of the settlement sector to respond to gender-based violence\, together with the anti-violence sector
DESCRIPTION:The Bridges to Safety is a self-directed\, online course over 6-weeks that aims to build a common base of knowledge\, increase awareness and education\, and enhance the capacity of those in the settlement sector to recognize and respond to gender-based violence in ways that meet the unique needs of newcomer\, immigrant\, and refugee communities. It also aims to increase the capacity of the anti-violence sectors to work collaboratively with the settlement sector in this area\, and to focus on building bridges between sectors.
