SUMMARY:Key Principles in Responding to Sexual Violence
DESCRIPTION:*Please note this event starts at 4:00 am CST* \nParticipants in this 3.5 hour online workshop can expect to examine the myths and realities of sexual violence within a framework of violence against women and girls. Participants will develop an understanding on the law surrounding rape and sexual assault – with a focus on consent. Participants will be introduced to a model of best practice in working with sexual violence and will identify key principles in responding to disclosures of sexual violence sensitively and appropriately.
