DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this panel discussion is to educate university students\, many of whom will enter the healthcare field or other professions that serve the general public\, about social inequities and their effects on health outcomes. The effects of social inequities in healthcare can have life and death consequences and therefore it is of utmost importance that these concerns are seriously addressed individually and at a systemic level.
