SUMMARY:Pathways to Decolonization - November Health Equity Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:This month the Division of Social Accountability takes the opportunity to reflect critically on decolonization. Over the last few years\, the word decolonization has become ubiquitous\, permeating classrooms\, workplaces\, and homes across the country—across the world really. Conversations about decolonization have spread across continents\, as people try to reimagine their home nations in the absence of colonial influence. On November 25th\, we offer a webinar with Dr. Jacob Alhassan and Erica Violet Lee\, who will discuss pathways to decolonization from a global perspective. The speakers will present on decolonial thought as influenced by leaders such as Fanon\, and Nelson Mandela. Join us for what is sure to be a riveting dialogue between these two brilliant thinkers.
